Dr. Mark Schwartz, LAc, DAOM, FABORM, Dipl OM received his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine and his doctorate in Chinese Medicine - Women’s Health and Reproductive Medicine at Yosan University. He is a fellow of the Acupuncture & TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine and licensed as an acupuncturist by the Georgia Composite Medical Board and Nationally Board Certified to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Since 2010 his practice is exclusively devoted to helping his patients conceive or overcome recurrent pregnancy loss.
Han Lin Yang is nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and has practiced acupuncture and herbal medicine in Florida and California for 14 years. He initially moved to the US to become a personal student of renowned Hai Sha Ni who inspired and taught generations of Chinese medicine practitioners. After graduating from South Baylo University, he started practicing at Ni’s Acupuncture Center where patients came from all over the world to receive treatment. At this time, Han mainly focused on the treatment and support of cancer patients. Then he started his own clinic in Gainesville Florida. In the high-pollen gator town, many children suffered from asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and allergies. Thus he began his study and research of pediatric medicine. During his time in Gainesville, as a primary care provider, Han successfully treated patients with various conditions including asthma, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, brain tumor, insomnia, diabetes, hypertension, infertility, endometriosis etc.
After 5 years in Florida, Han moved to Palo Alto California, where he joined a team of practitioners who shared his same passion and expertise in acupuncture and herbal medicine. In the fast pace and high-pressure environment of the bay area, he dived deeply into the study of scalp acupuncture due to its effectiveness to treat patients with neurological disorders such as insomnia, anxiety, migraine headache, stroke, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. During that time, he also taught a course on integrative pediatric medicine to doctoral students at East West University. During Covid, he successfully helped many patients with Covid as well as post-covid recovery.
Over his years of practice, Han strongly believes in the combined synergy of acupuncture and herbal medicine to greatly enhance the efficacy and efficiency in treatment of patients. He listens carefully and attentively to his patients concerns. He also believes that in some cases small diets modification can make a lot of difference in many chronic diseases.
Xiang “Kelly” Li is nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her master’s degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in Gainesville Florida after completing three and half years intensive study. She has successfully mastered various diagnostic tools including Dr. Shen’s contemporary pulse diagnosis that in combination with a thorough intake offer a unique holistic approach that allows her to get to the root of her patient’s health concerns. She grew up in a medical family in China. Although her father was a western trained physician she always had a deep interest in Chinese traditional culture and medicine. Interestingly it was after immigrating to the United States that she began using Chinese medicine as her primary healthcare. After first receiving acupuncture to treat dizziness and constipation she was fascinated by how powerful and quickly it relieved her condition. After many years of study she passionately believes that this ancient medicine, which has served the Chinese for more than 3000 years, has a lot to offer to today’s modern people throughout the world. In areas such as disease prevention, maintaining wellness and the integration of mind and body Chinese medicine has many unique advantages over Western Medicine. In China people have access to both Western and Chinese medicine and receive the best of both worlds. Chinese medicine can be thought of as independent means to treat disease or it can be combined safely with western medicine.
